The maddest show on TV returns on Sat 01 Jan 2022!!

Yes, the Masked Singer is back on ITV for the third series tonight at 7pm, with second show tomorrow.

The show features 12 celebrities in disguise and a panel [and we the viewers] tries to work out  from the performances and clues who is behind the mask.

This year`s Masked Singers are:

Comedian and presenter, Joel Dommett is back as host of the show.

The panel for series 3, returning to judge, are Jonathan Ross; Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan.

I`ll be watching. Will previous Masked Singer viewers, inc @Cleoriff  @gmarkj  @sheepdog , and anyone else be watching ???

Gutted to see Rockhopper unmasked and out of the competition. 

In my opinion, her singing Loving You was the performance of the night.

On to the final next week.

If there is any justice - Mushroom to win.

After Rockhopper, Mushroom is my favourite @Mi-Amigo. No idea who she is but Charlotte Church does come to mind.

I'd would have voted Rockhopper out just for singing my most hated songs. At least she didn't try and do the really screechy bit like Minnie Ripperton did. Arghhhhh. Can't get that out of my head. The pain the pain 😾. 

Also in my top ten of hated songs is anything by Craig David. Who I'm kind of convinced is Robobunny. 

Found it quite funny Joan Collins is still stuck in the 70's and had no idea of the identity of Rockhopper. Which is kind of true because even my parents didn't care either. 

Who to win? not sure as its a difficult one. I'd go for Robobunny even if it is Craig David.

Tonight`s Grand Final opened with Masked Singers of the series singing Edge Of Glory.

Joss Stone [on previous Masked Singer UK as Sausage] joined panel.

Robobunny - clues: videogame; score of 14; carrot hunt

Panda - clues: trekking; impressions; crown

In my opinion, the winner should have been Mushroom {Charlotte Church] who was brilliant throughout the series and gave a stunning performance with both songs tonight.

I did guess Mushroom was Charlotte Church but had no idea who the other two finalists were.

A great show with some great performances and lots of fun.

I agree with you about Mushroom @Mi-Amigo.

When she sang Flower Duet tonight it was a stunning performance. Probably best of the series. Also Stone Cold was brilliant.

I think she missed out on winning because most people guessed who she was.

Panda certainly isn't in the same class as Mushroom.

Now onto Robobunny. What a surprise! As he said, when in costume he felt free and could sing how and what he wanted. Remember this is the guy who sang songs and sounded like a woman then a man.

I had no idea that he could do this in his 'normal' life in the group he's in. Also his rendition of Run (one of my favourite songs) was just great.

Great show. Loved it.

Have to say, I really enjoyed the duets as it added something different to the format. Not sure about Joss Stone though but given she won last year, guest judge is only fair. 

I'm just going to refer back to page 3 of this thread and say "told you so" about Mushroom 🤣 Awesome performance of the flower duet (didn't know its name till now) but gave the game away. A bit like Morten Harket singing his own song and the judges still not getting who it was 🤣 

As for Panda/Robobunny. Never read youtube comment as they got it right. Not that I knew what Robobunny sounded like in real life as Westlife have been brained bleached out of existence. 

Never noticed how small Panda was in real-life. Or that everyone else in Neighbours is actually the same height and its all camera angles and soap boxes. Hmmm. 

Anyway, The Masked Dancer is coming and we'll have to pay extra attention to the clues!
