I don't have a TV license, and therefore don't watch anything live at home, nor anything from the BBC (since iPlayer use now requires a license). I do however watch on demand, and the adverts in GBBO really were the extremes of what is tolerable. 😞 It got to the point that by the time the ad break had finished I'd zoned out and lost interest in the programme a bit.
Totally understand the need for advertising revenue, however when there seems to be more advertising than TV show it's not a great experience.
As for the show itself, I agree completely with the comments about the new team, although I suspect they will grow on me as the show itself did when I first started to watch it.
