I recently started watching The Big Bang Theory.  I'd seen it advertised many times but I never actually watched it.  Now I regret not watching it sooner.  I think the show is great.  I have watched the first 2 episodes of the new series on E4, however I have missed the other episodes 😞

Is anybody else a fan?

Who is your favourite character?

Mine is Sheldon - he is funny in his own way

Take the quiz to see which character you are: http://www.buddytv.com/personalityquiz/the-big-bang-theory-personalityquiz.aspx?quiz=89

My result is Penny

I've viewed a couple of episodes but to be honest I can't click with it.

My son watches it and so does one of my colleagues at work religiously 😄

I am currently on season 7. It's not as good as the first 6 in my opinion. I really enjoyed the first 6 seasons. My favourite character must be Leonard. And Raj second.

I like the strange/weird/different connection between Sheldon and Amy.

I like it as its not exactly far from the truth from when I was at uni doing physics... Thing about it is that you can drop into any episode and there is almost no backstory to it. Granted the odd thing but it doesn't detract too much from the comedy. Though I wouldn't go out of my way to buy the series as its now syndicated as you'll be seeing it for the next 20 years on some channel. Just like Friends.

I love the show but was worried I might be going a little strange in my old age. Happy I'm not alone. ...

I agree - the episodes don't necessarily follow on so if I can follow it without watching every single episode

I feel it's more likely to appeal to teenagers than adults although I do watch it, it's not the must watch it once was. The characters are now more mature in a way and Sheldon is manic as ever but more subdued than he used to be.

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra
