To be honest the last two doctors left much to be desired, my god they weren't even likeable. This series needed a good kick up the backside, so I'll give her a chance and she must be better than some of the quack doctors we've had!

I am not a great fan of Dr Who and watch it intermittently but I actually liked Matt Smith the 11th Dr. . I felt he had a lot to live up to after David Tennant (my favourite) but he was quirky and I liked that...
It was a risk when they cast him as he was virtually unknown. I remember saying Matt who? (excuse the pun) Peter Capaldi has been useless....
I know the casting of Jodie Whittaker has raised a lot of concern. Many dedicated fans are pretty outraged (according to BBC news) ...

I enjoyed Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor, I prefer him rather than Christopher Eccleston. Capaldi has been useless since his regeneration scene which was rubbish for a start. I'm looking forward to seeing what Jodie Whittaker can do

You are exactly right @Beenherebefore if this doesn't work out then I think they should put the show on hiatus again
