I'll still be at some point getting my hands on something better designed to run it tho hopefully.

Just to clarify, you cannot sideload lollipop onto the ipad as the ipad does not meet the minimum hardware requirements.

Most probably correct 😉

However it's early days to know when it will be available for which device ,and what will support Lollipop in the Android World.
