Taking some time off 🏡

Hello everyone!

Just popping in to let everyone know I'm going to be taking a bit of time off to move house.

A year ago, my family moved here from China and now we're heading up to West Yorkshire. Am I too hopeful that maybe there'll be snow there? I have no idea so fill me in. 

The house is currently a mess of boxes and there's still so much packing to do. It'll be Mickey's 15th time moving and needless to say, I believe he's thoroughly "over it." Just look at that face...

 

Pretty sure he's saying "Woman, I have had enough!"

Of course, the steadfast @RafaC  and @Martin-O2 will be here if you need anything. I'll be back on November 10th, hopefully mostly settled into a new place and with Wi-Fi, but you know how that goes! I'll reply to any DMs when I get back.

As to snow it will depend on where you are located. It's a bit early yet. The Penines will be good for snow later on.

Your biggest challenge will be the language barrier!

You wont get much snow in West Yorkshire, unless you are up in Howarth, or on the hills around HuddsCleckFax

I will no longer be able to think of West Yorkshire without singing that little rhyme in my head @madasaf1sh 😂

Mickey has been very pleased about all the new windows and hiding places. Have also given a fresh bag of catnip and a new scratcher to appease him. @gmarkj Getting in his mid-morning doze now.

Despite a gas leak the second day (that was a fun experience!), it's all gone off without a hitch-- the Wifi was actually installed on time and is much faster believe it or not 🤔
