Ha ha @TallTrees. Personally I was never really keen on the Stepford Wife look. They used to wear hats outside as well. 1950 was very much a time when 'women knew their place'.

I was happy enough in the 60's wearing mini dresses and bouffant hair and causing a revolution. 😂

True 1960's certainly emancipated women alright @Cleoriff 

1960's were well dressed but different from the 50's of course.

Still don't understand the ripped jeans though 🙄

Never had the waist for 50s look.....nor the body shape for jeans.

For me it is leggings (I have good shapely legs) and a baggy top, usually a t-shirt.

 

Totally agree with 60s look = American tan tights, chisel toe shoes, mini skirts, skinny rib tops, with my hair in flicks.
