Street cat named Bob

I guess almost everyone knows James Bowen and Bob. 

Bob died yesterday. It kinda hit me.

I met them 2015 in Cologne at a booksigning... In London I never had that luck.

That's sad news. James always credited Bob with saving his life.

Considering the life he led, he was a good age in cat years (14)

Aw! He is famous all over the world! 

James Bowen was a drug addict - then Bob showed up, a wounded stray. He took care of Bob and cared for him, so he got healthy again. So he wanted to let him into the wild again, but Bob stayed - and helped him later to get rid of drugs and get back into a "normal" life. 

So they helped each other in their worst times.

It's just a touching story...

Must admit I enjoyed reading their books and it is sad to hear about Bob's passing.
Hope that James can cope with his mate not being around anymore...
