Sony PlayStation are holding a conference this evening at 8PM (UK time) and it should be an interesting event!

Are you excited? What do you think they'll announce? Heard any rumours? Head to PlaySation's Live Page at 8PM to tune in, or now to see the countdown. Then come back here and let us know what you thought.

I can't tell you how surprised I was to see them announce a PS4 slim.
Took the room completely by surprise.

Captured the wrong comment but no matter....yes they do look like a multi story carpark.

What sort of price are they running out at?

Between £10 and £20 million depending on the price of land

I'm a PS fan (had all of them at one point or another) but with little or no time it's not something that I would look to invest in right now.
I think that they continue to be the better game option (vs the Xbox) and they are always including new tech with each version (PS3 was Blu Ray, 4 now includes 4k) so they are definitely the market leader in that sense.
Are they still not backwards compatible? That is the one thing that is frustrating as you are forced into re-buying all of the games you own, or getting this as a 2nd system. Both of which are significant costs!!

I think it looks OK, fairly similar to the current design. I'll pick one up at some point but my current system already has a 1TB HDD and has plenty of life in it yet.

The only disappointment I have with the pro is that Sony haven't put a ultra blu ray drive in like Microsoft have done with the xbox one s. Massive missed opportunity from Sony.

I will still pick the pro up and use the Xbox s for gaming and movies in 4k

Truth is I am useless when I play these type of games. I have tried on the Xbox(es) we have here....there are so many different buttons to press on the remote I am finished before I start much to the disgust of my grandson. When everyone laughs at me I just say (sniffily) that I have many other strengths LOL
