Solar Eclipse: Friday 20th March

A spectacular event is occuring on Friday 20th March 2015

The UK will experience a near-total solar eclipse which is due to block out the light of the sun in Britain, leaving parts of the UK shrouded in 99% darkness on Friday.

Although total eclipses can be seen somewhere on Earth every year or so, they are rarely seen in Europe. The eclipse this week,  will be the first in Britain in this century.

It will start approximately 8am on Friday morning.....

Many events to celebrate this event are due to take place acoss the UK...

Also many warnings being issued re protecting eyesight ....

Not expected in the Midlands till about 9.30am @Toby  I do have to say though this is the best sunny clear morning for ages.

(Wouldn't you know it....first bit of sun... and then the blumming moon gonna cover it up..)

Well I don't know @Anonymous  I am having no luck with these live streamings....clicked on your link....and the same as @jonsie 's first one...total blackout??
