Sayings

Hello guys!

I hope you are having a good week so far. Cheer up! We're almost there.

I thought it could be a good idea to create a thread about the sayings you guys know. Probably some of them are very popular but I'm sure there are a lot I/we have never heard.

What phrases/sayings/proverbs represent your life?

Which ones do you usually say?

I'll go first: 'The grass is always greener on the other side'

Meaning: You always think that what's happening to others is better than yours.

Let's eat grandpa.

Let's eat, grandpa.

Correct punctuation could save a life.

"Slow children crossing" is one of the old favourites where a comma means everything.
