Royal Wedding: Today's the Day!

Hi everyone,

Today is the Day 

After a week of countdown topics, you should now have a pretty good idea of what your ideal wedding looks like You can put together the location, the outfit, the reception details and the hen/stag do and see what it looks like altogether ... or mix and match from others' answers!

For example I'd pick ...

• Before the big day, a traditionnal hen/stag do: I'd trust @gmarkj or @jonsie with these.
• @Marjo idea of a wedding in space
• The gothic dressing code @Cleoriff mentionned
• A giant tiered victoria sponge by @Anonymous for a classic touch
• Followed by a honeymoon on Oahu as @Glory1 suggested!

We know some of you will be following today's event, on TV or elsewhere, and it's surely going to be very exciting

I'm watching on BBC1 too ... have got goosebumps ... very pleased to hear from Kevin Sinfield MBE (former high scorer / captain of Leeds 'Rhinos' Rugby League Football Club) = he was with Dermot O'Leary & a very pleasantly spoken female presenter - Kevin told how Harry is showing a keen interest in rugby league (a bit of a Cinderella sport imhho) ... off downstairs now to catch up on the fashions

They are also showing coverage in the US...BBC flicked to Los Angeles where they are having their own Wedding party celebrations.They spoke to the teacher who gave her the first leading role in a school play...

A lot of the wedding guests are from the armed forces. Harry's troop. Also forces personnel who lost their limbs and take part in the Invictus games...

A very different Royal wedding is this one....

Meghan has just left her hotel with her mum in the car.....Not much to be seen of the dress yet....

It's a 30 minute drive to the Church.... Getting excited
