One of my favourite comedians sadly passed away today. RIP Jerry

When I was very young he came to our local cinema in New York to introduce his first film as a single comedian, after the break-up of his partnership with Dean Martin. He showed us behind-the-scene clips of fluffed lines and other mishaps which was absolutely hilarious. A very, very early American version of 'It'll Be Alright on the Night'.
He always made me laugh and, in later years, hosted a yearly telethon for muscular dystrophy (if memory serves me) which raised loads of money.
A sad loss. RIP Jerry ❤
