R.I.P Shane. A real legend.
Shocked about the encephalitis. Knowing how that starts with flu like symptoms, he and family probably thought that's all it was. However, encephalitis needs immediate treatment. God bless you Shane. I expect Fairytale Of New York will be the Christmas number 1. 💔❤️

What a wonderful funeral Shane was given. People lined the streets to say an emotional farewell to their 'Irish Poet'. The service was held in County Tipperary
Many stars in attendance, including Johnny Depp, Bono, Nick Cave and the Irish President Michael D. Higgins.
Songs were sung by his bandmates and other singers. They included 'A Man You Don't Meet Every Day' and of course, The Fairytale of New York.
It is rumoured that Shane left £10,000 behind the bar for his wake 😍
