Lemmy Kilmister lead singer of Motorhead has died aged 70
He had a number of well publicised illnesses but his death was unexpected.
Edited to add.... apparently Lemmy discovered he had a particularly aggressive type of cancer just a few days ago http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/12/r-i-p-lemmy-kilmister-motorhead-frontman-dead-at-70/
R.I.P Lemmy.

A funeral service to honour a true rock legend ...
Lemmy once said " I have no regrets about anything. I can't remember half of what I did, so why would I regret it?"
He loved Jack Daniels and cola....but recently switched to vodka and orange as he thought this was much healthier..(way to go Lemmy)
A photograph of Motorhead was on display at the service chapel, together with a bank of speakers, Lemmy's boots and an urn shaped like the singer's trademark black brimmed hat.
His son Paul Inder said "Travel well, my dear father. You are back out on the road for a longest tour to the great gig in the sky"
