Hi all.

Encouraged by 2 fab community members to create this new topic. Hope you like.
Thought this could be a nice space to share some of the poems we have written and inspire each other with our creativity. Poems are a way for me to voice whats going on in my head especially when my anxiety has left me feeling somewhat foggy headed.

Hope you enjoy reading and sharing your work.

Pennywren 😊

Its a bit of a weird one today 😂

All my words, all at once so yeah I think it kind of lost its original thread and sort of meanders off on its own agenda 🤣

It's a new day

A fresh start

I know things are going to change.

A leap into the unknown

But change can be good

A way to spice up life.

But don't forget the simple things

The beauty in each day:

Birdsong,

sunrise and set

The flow of water in a stream

The delight of children's laughter.

Reach out a hand in friendship

To all who need it today.

Near or far we all need someone

A person who we can trust.

I let off steam here

I can be who I am

Without fear

Without judgement.

No need for anxiety

No need for shame:

The lovely community is here.

Come one

Come all

We are like a family

And so many supportive people:

Tech wizards

Photography genius

Idle banter

Movie madness.

Something for everyone

And all is welcome.

Thank you both of you.

Been a crazy few weeks over Christmas and New Year.

Work is getting a bit stressful so I will be glad when I can go away for a few days end of next week.

Hoping things settle down at work and with my parents soon. Got to get over something quite stressful at work and I'm really hoping for the best possible outcome for all 🤞🙏

*Time*

It ticks on by

Ever steady,

The slow progression of the moment.

A tricky, funny thing is time.

Some days flies by like a jet

Others slow like treacle.

When waiting for something time likes to tease

Dragging on by slowly, slowly.

But having fun it skips on by

And it's gone before you now it.

It's fluid and constant

All around us

But never the same twice

Don't lose the moment

Cherish the now.

The future has yet to be written.

Tomorrow is today

Today is yesterday

Yesterday is but a memory.

Lovely @Pennywren .

I experienced the very slow passing of time this last week. In fact I was forgetting what day it actually was!

I know that feeling all to well @Cleoriff!

I know next week will drag as I'm off on holiday at the very end of the week. The lead-up to holidays are always slow but I am feeling like I really need the chance to get away, to switch off and reset. Roll on Friday evening when I'm travelling 😅
