So he didn't come anywhere near his text allowance.

Yet again, if you read the link that jonsie posted it says 'He complained to the police who said his chances of catching the crook were slim'.
The police weren't interested in pursuing it.

You may well be right, adam, but the article says he used an iPhone and he only had to send the whole play as one text. Not being an iPhone person, I don't know how it handles lengthy texts, but you are, so you'd be better to answer that.
