So he didn't come anywhere near his text allowance.

I think he would have a case with the police whether gumtree are involved or not but I guess he's happy doing what he is doing

@Bambino that is very strange as i thought most handsets split into 160 sms or converted to mms over a certain size I do not think we have the full picture on this ! he may well get mms charges and come here asking why

Yet again, if you read the link that jonsie posted it says 'He complained to the police who said his chances of catching the crook were slim'. 

The police weren't interested in pursuing it.

You may well be right, adam, but the article says he used an iPhone and he only had to send the whole play as one text. Not being an iPhone person, I don't know how it handles lengthy texts, but you are, so you'd be better to answer that.

my iphone splits them over 160 and not sure when it gets converted to mms as i have mms turned off
