I read that yesterday. Someone must have a lot of spare time though

So he's copying and pasting text from his phone and sending the passages as SMS?
I know most people have "unlimited texts" on their plan, but surely over 17,000 is a bit excessive and way above the rumoured 3000 free texts limit?
Does this mean that there actually isn't a limit and "unlimited" does actually mean that?

The way I understood what the article said, he's able to copy and paste the whole play all at once, but it comes through to the recipient as individual 160 character text messages, so he hasn't sent 17,000 texts. It also doesn't say what network he's on. The limit on unlimited could be different from O2's.

He is with O2

"And because he is on an unlimited texts and calls package with O2 at £37 a month, his stunt is not costing him a penny."

I think there will be some sort of repercussions for his actions.
