I think you can get 4G on Virgin Mobile if you're a business customer, but I doubt it has generated much revenue for them. If Liberty Global did buy the business, I would think that it's pretty certain that the O2 logo would disappear. All of Virgin Media's support is outsourced as well, so that might not be great for customers.

I have to stick up for Virgin customer service, I called them several times and right up until I ported out there was never a problem (porting was a nightmare), but the staff themselves were helpful and competent, although they all sounded vaguely american.

I had figured something like that, ringing them always made me think of a scene in Slumdog Millionaire, where they are teaching people how to speak with english accents and what happened onEastEnders, you just knew it wasnt natural.
