Just in case you thought the title of the thread referred to me having a new contract...No...not at all. 
It has been announced that Lewis Hamilton will be signing a new contract with Mercedes today..
Worth £27,000,000.....a year....
I am an avid Formula One fan...and no secret that I love Lewis Hamilton. He has always been a favourite of mine....but £27,000,000?

He joined McLaren in 2007 and very nearly beat his team mate (Alonso a 2x WDC) in his first year, then he won the WDC in 2008.
In 2013 he was asked by Niki Lauda to join Mercedes, who were languishing in 5th position in the constructors.
People thought he was mad to move but it was the change to the hybrid era.
They didn't win the first year, the second year, Lewis won his 2nd WDC...and the rest, as they say, is history! 😂
