Can't remember the last time I went to a cinema.
I find films very self-indulgent, watching something that the cinematographer forces you to see through his direction of the camera.
If ever you have read a book then watched a film of the book, you'll probably understand what I mean.

Two on my list were films from books I had read previously (Gone Girl and Before I Go to Sleep)
They were quite good adaptations actually.
I do agree that films are usually inferior to the books....

I also try not to watch films on TV.....a difficult task when my wife hogs the remote.
