Mothers Day

It's Mothers Day today ... I have a simply stunning boxed pop up card with my mum's favourite flowers on = tulips ... it has been handmade by the wife of a friend of mine ... so creative she is

I have seen Mothers day wrapping paper in town, so I shall get some to wrap the boxed card in ... & ... post it through my mum's letterbox

I'm recently recovered from a nasty germ & mum does not wish me to visit her, as she is so frail, after my dear dad's very recently demise it really would do her badly

So to all Mothers out there may you be thinking of your children & they of you

Happy Mothers Day Jane....I had one son rock up with a card and a boxed orchid. He had one foot in the door of the house and the other on the 'running board' of the car. He was in a rush to get back and to cook burgers for a local footie team (who meet in their club post match)

No bother to me...the card was full of lovely words and it's the thought that counts PS the other son will still be in bed at this time....

She is every day @Anonymous. I made the silly mistake many years ago of panicking when someone here told me it was mother's day and I sent my mom a big bouquet of flowers. My mom called and asked me if it was a joke.

Mother's Day in the US isn't until May.

In Thailand mothers day is August 12th which is the queens birthday same as father's day is December 5th which is the King's birthday. The tradition is to wear yellow so it's the clothing stores that make big money rather than the florists. 

My day consisted of a trip to three cemeteries 😔
