Game on

The prime minister has set a deadline of 31 March for invoking Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, getting official talks with the EU started.

However,,,the Scottish National Party and the Liberal Democrat leadership opposed the bill, while 47 Labour MPs and Tory ex-chancellor Ken Clarke rebelled. With no effect obviously

You know, I voted to remain, I said leaving would be too messy. But the attitude of the EU since the referendum has really made me realise I voted incorrectly. They have behaved arrogantly and childishly regarding the whole thing.

WELL we need to see how this all turns out. Arrogance reigns in the EU but they are the biggest loser in all this despite the bravado and cryptic comments coming from people who really should know better.

And we also need to remember that we need as many friends and allies as we can get. People need to stop panning Theresa May for her 'friendship' with Trump. The arrogance/ignorance of people staggers me if honest. This pull up the drawbridge mentality will not help the UK survive.

There is nothing more certain but let's see what happens with the likes of Italy looking at the implications and also desiring to leave the EU. Yes we need friends but other nations need the UK....

Thing is with Italy is that they are in a situation as bad as Greece but the EU are in a quandry over it as Italy are one of the founder members. If they leave the EU is seriously wounded but if they stay then the EU has to throw more money at Italy to sort itself out (which it won't as time has shown) or change the rules to make sure they stay in. Once Italy is given help from the EU then it will be interesting to see what the other EU countries start demanding.
