LG announces curved screen phones to launch in 2014

 

 

LG has announced it is to start mass-production of what it calls the "world's first flexible OLED [organic light-emitting diode] panel for smartphones"."

 

Is their no bounds to mobile phone technology !

Remember the gorgeous BB Blade concept that could have been the 10 if the tech was available back then.......

Not saying it doesn't look good...it does.

 

Just saying there is no practical use for it on phones.

 

Would love to be proved wrong, not against it - just don't yet see why it is needed.

Have you guys seen concepts for bendy TV screens?

You could roll it up and use it in different rooms slight_smile

My mind boggles at some of the technology being created these days. Its only going to accelerate as time goes on.

One example of a very good use for flexible screens, could bend them to fit in certain parts of the house as long as you make sure you can still see it! grin
