Every day is a something day. Sod it all, just give me the days before the Internet and smart phones when the only calendar worth looking at was the advent calendar! Or school holidays and bank Holidays when the paper shop was shut and some poor sucker had to sit outside the shop waiting for desperate people needing their Daily Mirror fix.....yes I was that poor sucker who first had to make sure my old man had a paper to look at over breakfast.... I wouldn't care but a 24 page 'holiday' edition only contained 6 pages of sport!
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is don't bore me with all these special days dreamt up by people who really need slapping with a wet kipper!

There is only one pirate I've ever been interested in and that's Cap'n Jack Sparrow
So I'm delighted this topic was started as I could fill a page.
Here's one of his classics.
