Has your typing/spelling went downhill since you got a smartphone?

As the subject asks...has your typing or spelling went downhill since owning a smartphone?

With the advent of autocorrect and word-suggestion, I've found that I've stopped putting apostrophes in places where they should be when typing on a proper keyboard! I also struggle to place capital letters at the start of sentences!

I dont use predictive text and never have done so thankfully this isn't a problem haha.

So have any of you noticed that you're having to go back and sort things that you've typed on a regular basis?

My handwriting has become terrible though.

Hell, yes... -.- (Everyone says it's lovely though..Just I don't like it ... [tbh, never liked it.])

But typing spelling in sms really went bad, especially because I type to fast without reading it afterwards - If I send an iMessage to my US-friend, it's sometimes mixed with German words, because the phone just knows the German dictionary grin

As I said the other day, my spelling/grammar is pretty much spot on, even on SMS texts, that's why my bills are expensive, cos I send long fully worded texts with full spelling and puncuation etc.

Are you sure, as there are two mistakes in your post above? Smiley Frustrated

No, it has not and why? well that's simple:

If I am at home: I will use the web text service and reply to them from my computer

If I am out and about: I call them up and talk to them about the matter they texted me with.

Ding-batting about with tiny physical keyboards (ex: black berry)  or onscreen keyboards which give you insane auto-corrrects (iphones) sometimes is not something I like doing.
