As the subject asks...has your typing or spelling went downhill since owning a smartphone?
With the advent of autocorrect and word-suggestion, I've found that I've stopped putting apostrophes in places where they should be when typing on a proper keyboard! I also struggle to place capital letters at the start of sentences!
I dont use predictive text and never have done so thankfully this isn't a problem haha.
So have any of you noticed that you're having to go back and sort things that you've typed on a regular basis?

All the time but it's a fat finger problem for me, especially after a drink or three!
I don't use predictive text at all. I have tried the Swipe keyboard and continuous text but ended up with all sorts of strange messages.
So normal input method for me and reliance on my own grammar and literacy.

No, thankfully no changes - but I spend around 60-70 hours a week on my laptop typing
My handwriting has become terrible though.

The keys that are pressed the most when I'm at home are AWSD, QER, P and the Tab button as I don't do much actual typing when I'm there.
At work is when I'm noticing that even Microsoft won't fix my errors at times!

My spelling and grammar have always been top notch, even on SMS texts I don't use text speak, I write words in full with correct spelling and grammar.
Nearly 30 years ago, I used to get 20/20 in spelling tests at school most weeks, that was age 8, and even the "experts" back then said I had a reading age of 11+ at that age.
