Has anyone been having trouble with Google Play Store Recently

Over this weekend I have been having untold trouble with any apps that need Google eg I cannot access the Play Store - sometimes it reports a connection timeout, other times there is just nothing.  I have tried the usual business of clearing data and cache via the Application Manager.  Sometimes it works if I go off wifi and use 3G.

Just now Play Store did load and indicated there was an uodate available for teh Amazon app but when I selected that I got Error - Connection Timed Out - after literally a few seconds.

Beginning to hate technology.

Sounds like your wifi is having "issues"....
Give it a reboot and see if it helps.....

@adamtemp64 -  it may well be.  My knowledge of these things is severely limited.  Rather stupidly I just expect these things to work properly without my having to waste time and overheat my few remaing grey cells searching for "fixes".

It surely will be getting a boot up the processor very soon!!!

I have stopped and started it, had the SIM card out, had the SD Card out. Cleared caches,  reset the Broadband router and the associated modem.   Not that I understand any of these terms of course so i have probably confused the life out of both my mobile phone and my PC.   I am now relying on the passage of time to be the great healer that it has always proved to be in the past!
