I won't be shedding any tears for this guy nor do I think execution is wrong for certain crimes
He's been living on borrowed time for years and years unlike the murdered couple

It's my understanding that its down to the State Governors to stop executions then Supreme Court to appeal? Though its not the only one happening so makes you wonder who's been scheduling these for this specific time which points to kicking the can down the road as nobody wants to take responsiblity and easy to pass to the next guy to deal with.

Even so the only possible outcomes for Trump are:

a) delay it - "Trump is obstructing justice"

b) comumute the sentance - "Trump is obstructing justice"

c) pass on it - "Trump is obstructing justice"

c) do nothing and "justice prevails" for many

Though you could quite easily replace with any other President and I doubt the list will change for many decades until the law about the death penalty is changed. Point being, all legal avenues have been explored so why would any President want to overrule the Supreme Court ruling?

Quotes used in the last point as I don't believe in capital punishment (death penalty) regardless of what crime though its not a view shared by others. Changing the law to otherwise is a long and arduous task in any country let alone states so the question is: what defines a civilised society when it comes to crime and punishment?
