Halloween Movie Night! - Get Your Vote In!

Hey everyone, 

With Halloweek in full swing on the community what better time for our seventh official community night! As it's halloween we have to go with a horror film so we've grouped the selections based on the genre of horror. From left to right we have two sci fi horrors, two thriller horrors, two comedy horrors and two action horrors! All of these films can be found on Netflix. 😉

If you happened to miss our previous Community Movie Nights (e.g. our rom com night) this is your time to join! As before, the choice of film is yours - We have pre-selected eight Horror-themed films and will let you vote three times over the next three days until we have found the winning film that we then invite you to watch with us on Friday at 8pm! 

Of course we won't be able to sit together in front of the screen but that doesn't stop us - Right after voting has finished, we will create a special movie night thread here on the community where everyone can discuss the in's and out's and who's and what's whilst watching! 

To explain it a bit more in detail: We have created a bracket that features eight movies to start with. Today you will be able to vote between two movies each and select your favourite four of the bunch in the comment section. Tomorrow we will then continue the voting between everyone's favourite four, and then again the day after tomorrow between your favourite two. The winning movie will then be the star of our movie night on Friday!

@gmarkj I had a lot of options and it's always hard to decide. I'll keep those titles in mind next time we do a horror related movie night. 😉

There are a LOT of good (and not so good) horror films out there, and a large number on Prime (and more if you include Netflix) so not surprised the ones I mention weren't included.

To be honest I am shocked that some of those are on Prime - there are some REALLY good films there!

Thanks to everyone for your votes so far! We're on to round two now. We actually had a tie for the Action horror section so I had to toss a coin to determine the winner for that category. 😅
