The 02 Community is renown for its members offering help and for caring.
It is with great pleasure that I can announce that, thanks to the support of members of this Community, an adoption has been set up with the Born Free Foundation for what is known as the Elephant Family.
The Born Free Adoption Certificate will be in the name of the "02 Community".
It has been decided that one of these elephants should be named HOPE.
The adoption pack, with the adoption certifciate and photos of these beautiful creatures, should be received within the next few days and will be posted on this thread.
In the meantime, here is a short video of these beautiful elephants and the Born Free Foundation:

@Cleoriff wrote:Good to hear that background and family tree @Mi-Amigo
I allways find it amazing the age elephants live to.
I expect Pasha is with his own herd now...
Thank you @Cleoriff
As to Pasha being with his own herd, elephant herds and sub-groups are led by a matriach [female], so it would be she who would allow Pasha to join the her herd. With now, thankfully, so many herd in Amboseli, it is extremely difficult to trace the whereabout of a particular elephant. Surveys are routinely done and should I come across any reports on Pasha, I will post them on here.

Lovely to see so many of them doing well @Mi-Amigo, thanks for sharing the video It's incredible imagining them covering this distance at normal speed, considering it is speed x5 in the video!

Watched & listened to this with a tear in my eye / catch in my throat & a good sniff at the end of the vid
So elegant these creatures ... how they gathered together when approaching the road and stationary vehicles
The 2 large elephants were the last to cross the road as if being the 'rear guard'
Hope is such a powerful word and to think our little elephant has the name Hope
Thank you very much @Mi-Amigo for keeping us up to date with someone who touches our hearts

I agree @Anonymous . The two elephants with the large tusks stood there guarding all the others making sure they crossed tthe road safely.
Lovely video.
