Some people see things as they are and ask "Why?"; I dream of things that never were and ask "Why not?"

Hope you had a good one @gmarkj? Ours was fine and celebrated on Boxing Day which was the only day without rain. Good job as this was the first venture outside for No#2 son on crutches. 😂

It was very nice, if a little hectic @Cleoriff

We are re-mortgaging, and increasing the balance to raise funds to change the conservatory roof. And have arranged to get this done "soon" - which has meant emptying everything out of it as well as trying to decorate and host Christmas dinner for 7!

Good to hear everything went well with you, including the desired weather so everyone could attend.

Hello everyone wave

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas 😁

Now time to pick at the left overs, over the next few days 🐽

I suspect @Dave-O2 that, for many of us, consuming the Christmas leftovers could be months of a job.

I always make a resolution not to buy food and drink to excess next year, a resolution that seems to be forgotten about during the following December.

It certainly is @Oxonian - there are currently yellow weather warnings for rain and wind and they are due to start tomorrow...
