Yes. They said they handle it as terror situation to be clear for the "worst case", even it's "just a shooting".
So the classification is more like the strategic thing yet.
"I'm tired, boss. [...] Mostly, I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world every day. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head, all the time."
(John Coffey - The Green Mile)
That's what quoted in German on several sites on FB... It fits.
At least 9 dead now.

I just can't understand why people do such things. We people from Rhineland/Cologne are said to be most tolerant. One of our slogans is "Leeve un leeve losse" (Living and let live). It was always naturally for me. I just can't understand...
The 9th body is thought to be one of the terrorists. He has a bag with him and it'll be controled by robots. They fear it could be a bomb.

This morning they are reporting 9 dead including minors, the German-Iranian national gunman shot himself dead and there are 21 injured (16 hospitalised). He appeared to be acting alone but they are still investigating the possibility of others being involved.

Latest posted an hour ago is that he was acting alone. He was 18 and shot himself after killing and injuring others
He lived in Munich and his motives for the atrocity are unknown.....
