Depends who you believe. A character in the Stephen king book dreamcatcher (and the film) had a similar thing. Both very good but very different. Not for the faint hearted or squeamish either!

Yes I have read all of Stephen King books. A great fan. However this new take on Sherlock in 2016 is masterful

I love it.,....

I think those two books you mention were by James Herbert  Jane. He was an English writer who specialised in horror stories. Sadly passed away in 2013. Now I loved his books..Fear

I'm in my personal mind palace now, The Coffee and Beer Bar, I escape here when I need to be alone, think about the past, not too assed about the future tbh but I like being alone with my thoughts and pleasing just myself. Done the house hunting so it's all down to price and paperwork now.

I'm happiest in my mind palace....

yes Cleo you'd be right there ... it was so long ago ... ty for remembering ... at one time my lad loved the Stephen King books ... I remember daring to read The Fog, now what you have said above  ^  ^  ^ would have been by James Herbert? ... btw I didn't get very far before I got seriously unsettled ... I don't doubt these 2 authors write / wrote great popular books ... they'd be well-written too because I know you'd not read a trashily written book however good the plot eh? @Cleoriff ... see I'm good at grovelling ... LOL

talking of books ... I quite by chance picked up 2nd hand one of from The Game of Thrones series ... did a brief skeg of it, & vivid imagination that I have, I am just unable to do say more than a very few pages at a time now in any book be it fact or fiction slight_frown ... I've kept the book
