Hi Word Hunters.
Welcome to the 17th Word Hunt Diamond.
The game is open to all members.
Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted with a target number of words to find using only the letters in the grid.
This week`s "diamond" is as follows:
N
E A
T K G
C R
I
This week`s target is 69 words - using only the letters in the diamond - and includes one 9-letter word to find.
Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter K.
No proper names are allowed.
Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, KNEE wouldn`t be allowed].
Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter K
Only one word per post.
Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.
Regular updates will be given on each page [so as to avoid scrolling back] of the words found and the number of words still to be found.
A warm welcome to all members, and those who have not played before, for joining in the game with the regular players including
@Cleoriff ; @pgn ; @gmarkj ; @Bambino ; @jonsie ;@JAZZ-trad ; @Bob_Mcg ; @Marjo ; @TallTrees ; @OldFart -
who, previously, have, between them, not only found all the words in the list in the source used for the game, but have also found words not in the list.
Can you, the members, crack this week`s Word Hunt Diamond; and also find additional words which are not in the list?
Good luck everyone

RAKING - correct and in list
AKIN - correct and in list
KNAG - not in list but in Merriam Webster dictionary - obscrure meaning spur from tree trunk - so allowed as word not in the list
as TAKIER is not in dictionaries, I assume is typo for TAKER - which is correct and in list
GECK is not in list but is in Merriam Webster dictionary - Scottish meaning scornful - so is allowed as word not in list
