[Game] Word Hunt Diamond - Game 1

Hello everyone

Do you enjoy wordsearch, Scrabble, anagrams? Then you might like a brand new game -

                                                               The Word Hunt Diamond

The game is open to all members.

Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted with a target number of words to find using only the letters in the grid.

This week`s grid is as follows:

                                                                      N      C

                                                                   I       P      A

                                                                       L      G

                                                                           E

This week`s target is 75 words using only the letters in the grid.

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter.

No proper names are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [so, for example, PIPE wouldn`t be allowed].

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter.

Only one word per post and please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

There is one nine-letter word using all the letters in the grid. 

Regular updates will be given of the words found and the number of words still to be found.

Slight confusion near the end @Mi-Amigo but between us we made it.

Yes - those are the three correct missing words.

This completes the first Word Hunt Diamond.

I hope all of you enjoyed playing. I must admit that there were a couple of words which I had never come across before.

A new game - with a new nine word diamond and a new target [of 63 words] - will be posted on a new thread next Tuesday.

The game is open to all members, so I hope all of you who played along on this, the first one, and also new members and those who have not yet joined in, will come along and play.

As you probably know, I love words and word games, so working on this is a labour of love.

That said, when I first came across the list of words there were some which had me wondering if they were right so checked with dictionaries. So it`s been a learning curve for me too
