Last week I went to the supermarket and got arrested because of a simple misunderstanding.

At a wedding in the village church, when the vicar said, “…speak now or forever hold your peace.”, the moment of silence was broken by a beautiful young woman with an infant cradled in her arms rising to her feet from a pew near the rear of the church.
She stood up, and started walking slowly toward the vicar.
All hell broke loose.
The bride threw the bouquet on the floor and burst out crying. Then the groom's mother fainted.
The best man fidgeted, wondering how to save the situation.
The vicar said to the woman, "Why have you come forward? What do you have to say?”
There was an absolute silence in the church, you could have heard a pin drop, as the woman replied,
“We can't hear anything way down there at the back."
