Channel 4 has taken over the terrestrial viewing for Formula 1 after BBC opted out of the contract.

I love F1 and am a bit dubious as to how successful this will be. However they have stated there will be no adverts during race time (thank god)

Yesterday they officially revealed the presenting team......

David Coulthard, Mark Webber, Alain Prost, Alex Zanardi, Susie Wolff, Karun Chandhok, Eddie Jordan and Bruno Senna; alongside seasoned live presenters and journalists Steve Jones, Ben Edwards and Lee McKenzie.

It also says Guy Martin will be making appearances

Point is, Mercedes keep the niggles within the team and not in the media. LH has the habit of "dissing" in public and that almost certainly is mentioned in his contract.

I am not disagreeing with any of that ...but putting bias completely aside, since he started losing out to Lewis it is Rosberg who has been the most sulky in public. I have been impressed with Hamilton's cool professionalism if honest. Though watching a F1 programme about him last night .....he was still incensed about the yellow flag incident which allowed Rosberg to take pole. He was not dissing Rosberg (as such) he was speaking about the lack of consistency in the FIA 'rules' ......so yes that was moaning...but there again Vettel and Ricciardo were also were critical about the same incident.

Common occurrence in Brazil......I'd be more worried about this than Zika if I was a famous Olympic athlete such as Usain Bolt

Even though the IOC went all wussy on issuing an all out ban on the rest of the Russian team and are leaving it to the individual organisational bodies....like tennis et al

At the moment we have no idea just how many Russians will be at the games. Probably only Russian spectators

Personally I think it's a case of 'money talks'. I expect we will see more than we should.......Others will argue that the same rule should be applied to any other country with folk banned for doping...
