Although the season has yet to begin and we won't see the cars till next month when testing begins, I will start this thread off by wishing Lewis Hamilton a Happy 35th Birthday

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, car and shoes, possible text that says 'Happy'

This may be the year he wins his 7th WDC equalling Michael Schumacher. Who knows? He will certainly have Ferrari and the Red Bulls chasing him. Also with some luck and more power in the Honda engine, I am expecting McLaren to be in the mix as well....wink

As long as it makes the drivers take each other out I'm happy with the colour!

I reluctantly watched the reveal. What a performance!!

Ballet dancers and acrobats, full scale orchestra. FGS. Even Ferrari fans on the F1 live streaming site were posting 'bloody get on with it' . A real anticlimax in my opinion...Though I am very biased. rofl

The one and only thing I liked was the fact they used both drivers numbers. 5 at the front (for Seb) and 16 at the rear for Charles.

Now I'm sure these positions will be reversed during the season rofl....but as they pay Seb more, it's only fair he should be at the front.

Mercedes, to my knowledge, did the same last year when they revealed their car.

Mercedes have already revealed the livery @jonsie . Did it yesterday at the Royal Automobile Club. Shocked everyone as we all thought it was the new car (which is due to be shown on Feb 14th)

I've shown it above somewhere. Its got a bit of red on it (as a nod to their new sponsor)

Anyway it was the 2020 livery on the 2019 car!! Teasing sods.

*CHINESE F1 CANCELLED/POSTPONED*

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/51471569

The Chinese Grand Prix has been postponed as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

The FIA, Formula 1's governing body, has accepted a request from Chinese organisers to postpone the Shanghai race, due to take place on 19 April.

In a statement, it added all parties would take the "appropriate amount of time" to discuss potential new dates.

The decision has been made to "ensure the health and safety" of drivers, staff and fans.

Good job.
