Although the season has yet to begin and we won't see the cars till next month when testing begins, I will start this thread off by wishing Lewis Hamilton a Happy 35th Birthday
This may be the year he wins his 7th WDC equalling Michael Schumacher. Who knows? He will certainly have Ferrari and the Red Bulls chasing him. Also with some luck and more power in the Honda engine, I am expecting McLaren to be in the mix as well....

They did indeed, $20,000. However, I'm pleased they chose to penalise the team and not the driver, which could have been a ban or a grid drop (dependent on how many laps he did on the wrong tyres)

Penalising the driver would have potentially been a ridiculous situation.
Assuming George is back in his own car next week, he would have to take the drop in the Williams, which was the car that caused the safety car which lead to the cluster.

Yes Brundle was saying pretty much the same (along with Crofty quoting Article 2.31 or somesuch)
I'm not sure where George will be next week though. Abu Dhabi have very strict rules about isolation after Covid 19, although the rules have been relaxed for the F1 circus. It depends if LH can give 3 clear Covid results. His social media accounts have been very quiet!

Make of this what you will, but I notice today that both Bottas and Russell have removed their teams from their Instagram bio's and Mercedes have stopped following Bottas........

However, someone thinks a few instagram accounts have been hacked. Romain Grosjean's has disappeared, Alex Albons is not showing and one of the other F1 drivers is having problems with his!
