Rinse and repeat. Ferrari leading the pack in FP2
Gasly had a big crash which put him out of any further action

FP3 and Merc are in trouble. The track is cooler but they are not as fast as Ferrari or Max. They have changed the cooling side pods to the smaller ones but no help really.
It hasn't helped that the stewards are being rigid about the rules for crossing track limits!
7 drivers including Seb and Hamilton had laps deleted for exceeding track limits

It's looking a little ominous for Mercedes.....

GET IN THERE LEWIS!!
Ferrari had problems when it mattered so Seb starts in 20th Turbo problems in Q1. He didnt set a time.
Charles leclerc similar issues in Q3...so he didnt get out. Max split the 2 Mercs..

Must admit I felt gutted for him. Last year he put it in the barrier...this year through no fault of his own the car messed up when it mattered. As for Charles, such a pity as he was top dog during all practice sessions.

I didn't manage to see it but good news about Ferrari. Shame for Vettel though in his home country.
True, but it’s also a home Grand Prix for Mercedes. It’s a fact that’s often overlooked with so much focus being placed on the drivers (i.e. in the media).
Edit: to add clarification.
