Starting a new thread (before the last one gets split again)...:smileytongue:
It is 2018, The year of the Halo... Like it or hate it, it will be implemented as part of new FIA rules
None of the 2018 cars have been revealed yet (that happens in February) but this is how it will look
Most drivers' aren't keen but are having to toe the party line...

About the only enjoyable thing to happen today.It was quite a boring grand prix but the others just were't good enough today.

It was boring @jonsie but proved a point for me.
Lewis pulled out the best pole of his life yesterday. In a car supposedly slower than Ferrari. The fact he went on to win with Mad Max and Seb up his ass proves once and for all who is the best driver.
I think he has reached another level this season. Vettel and Ferrari are losing the plot.
There is something special about LH. Something I have rarely seen in any F1 driver and I have been watching since the 60's.

Formula 1 of a different kind!
That's more exciting than some of the F1 races !!
Not sure I'm too happy seeing Mercedes last every time though. Beaten by Force India. (they wish )
The real F1 is back this weekend in Russia. Normally a track to favour Mercedes ...so I'm hoping Lewis will swing into Hammertime mode and put this championship into the hands of the Brits ....
Vettel is proving one thing. Ferrari may well have the fastest car, but they haven't got Lewis Hamilton...

@Anonymous
I haven't heard that one? Leclerc has been in the Ferrari last week for testing, but heard nothing about new about Kimi
Sounds a daft move to make if honest. This championship could go down to the wire and the way Vettel/Ferrari have been messing up, he needs Kimi to be his wingman, not an untested rookie.
Just been announced that Haas will keep the same two drivers for next season. I think Grosjean has been lucky with that decision.
