True fact,
Xperia handsets are waterproof, not because of pics underwater or rain showers.
But because the top cause of water damage is dropping the phone down the bog.

I wonder how many new phones are purchased as a result of damage to the owners old one?
Making phones damage resistant could reduce sales.....?

May well be so. Don't forget the massive advancement in batteries that could put a lot of companies out of work if they were to be introduced to the mobile industry.
