Yeah, my 5" screen does use slightly more power than your 4"

Come on there are plenty of free apps on both platforms, but unfortunately most of them are naff !

Ive got an iphone 5 on one side of me and a MBA on the other side, with an ipod touch in front of me surrounding me with good Karma, with MI5's android thingies at the rear kicking my butt !
