Hi O2 Community,
Any news on when O2 will bring RCS (Rich Communication Services) to iPhone users in the UK?
RCS offers features like better media sharing, read receipts, encryption, and improved group chats. While Android users are already benefiting, iPhone users are still stuck with outdated SMS. Without RCS, we’re missing out on modern messaging features and security, which might push people towards other platforms or networks.
Would love to hear if this is on O2’s radar!
Thanks!

well according to MacRumors IPv6 may be required for RCS to work on iPhone and O2 is only just (as of this week ) started some kind of Deployment of IPv6 addresses (not fully functional and doesn’t work on data / mobile broadband connections) to some customers
