Using Oppo Find X2 Neo in USA

Trying to find out if my Oppo Find X2 Neo will work in USA. IMEI checker says no , list of devices however lists X2 Neo 5G as yes ( presume mine is 5G as uses 5g) is a minefield trying to get an answer for someone not techy. Any help appreciated
