Thought I would start off a thread, bit of friendly banter not too heavy and an opportunity to express your ideas about your favourite team.
What are you hoping for in the January transfer market?
As a Liverpool fan I am hoping for cover for Mane and the front 3.

Thanks for the response Jonsie, I would have to agree with you that people shouldn’t be named until the verdict is decided.
But also the media shouldn’t describe everything about the person either to the point we all know who it is. Granted I name dropped the person but that because I’m an Arsenal fan and the media have all but named him so all football fans know who it is.
So I think describing the person is also unfair because in this case the player still has a role within the club which they should be able to continue without judgment until proven guilty or arrested and held.

Huge congratulations to the Lionesses for winning the Woman’s Euro 2022.
It’s great to have Woman’s football making these huge gains in the last 10 years with the investment into the game paying dividends today. All of those ladies should be extremely proud of what they have accomplished!
It was touch and go a few times today but they rode the huddles and can say they are champions of Europe!!

There I was thinking, I'll make an effort to watch the final on Sunday at 8pm only to turn on the TV at 715pm and discover there's 5 more mins of extra time to go. Treated to what was a world class display of timewasting. Awesome and obviously I don't blame them. Pretty decent trophy though, quite impressed with that.

Just think, the FA banned women’s football from its clubs’ grounds but its view that football was ‘quite unsuitable for females’ changed towards the end of the 1960s.
The Women’s FA (WFA) was formed in 1969 and within three years the first 'Women’s FA Cup Final' and England Women’s international had been played.
Now, just look at them!

Great Knowledge Cleoriff, I didn't actually know that. I still can't believe that the Lionesses are champions of Europe!
You are right sheepdog, such an epic display in time wasting at the end which would have driven the Germans up the wall. Do you think all football (Woman's and Men's) would benefit from a Rugby style clock on and clock off time system?

After a disappointing start to the season, with two draws and losing to Man Utd, LIVERPOOL were back on Saturday 😁
LIVERPOOL 9 - BOURNEMOUTH 0.
Watch out, LIVERPOOL are coming and chasing...

Switching back to the Premier League... What do you think of the following:
1. Arsenal top of the league?
2. Man United performances this season?
3. Chelsea sacking Tuchel?
4. Liverpool having a bit of a up and down start?
5. Spurs doing ok in the PL but but not great in Europe?

England played Germany on Monday night and finally managed to score a few goals, although they didn't win, did the team do enough to convince you we have a good squad or are you worried going into the World Cup with this group of players?
Maybe the National League is just not a big enough occasion for England or maybe Southgate has no plan b ever? Maybe England are saving their best for the big competitions or maybe this is the best we can play right now? What do you think... Would you change anyone in the team or staff or wait to see how the World Cup goes until you pass comment?
