So breaking news before the start of the 2024 season:

Lewis Hamilton appears to be making a move to Ferrari for the 2025 season

A major shock as he signed a two year contract with Mercedes last season. So whether it was one year with an opt out clause for 2025 is anyone's guess.

This seems to be anything but a silly season rumour!

NB As Charles Leclerc has just signed a contract extension with Ferrari, it looks as if Lewis would be replacing Carlos Sainz.

It won't be a popular move. Also, not sure how Mercedes will handle that news THIS year as Lewis is driving for them until the end of 2024.

Will they put all their eggs in George Russells basket? (Hamilton came 3rd in the drivers championship last year and Russell came 8th)

One thing about Max he speaks his mind. When he lost pole with that stupid penalty, he said, "I've been in that stewards room with many drivers and I've never seen one like Russell try to screw me over so much. I've lost all respect for him"

Mind you, this is the same Max who got his mate Norris a massive penalty for speeding behind him when they were waving double yellows. 😂

As for supporting the McLaren Papaya @MI5 ....I honestly think Piastri is more likely to win a wdc before Norris.

He's a damn good driver who unlike Norris, doesn't panic or bottle it. Let's face it, he's only a rookie. 😂

Oh btw, it looks as if Perez will be gone after Abu Dhabi. It seems RBR have given him the option 'of stepping down from RBR with dignity, as if it was his own decision and walking away with a few million for RBR breaking his contract or they will sack him.

It appears they have their eye on Lawson. They were considering Colapinto (until they saw how many cars he's written off for Williams!) 😂

McLaren just my preferred "orange" @Cleoriff and even though RB are the old Jaguar team, I won't support them whilst Max still drives for them.

Lawson was "signed up" after Vegas. Perez has been paid off and will announce his drive at the weekend for next year.

George Russell will be wearing a tribute helmet for Lewis Hamilton for the last race of the season in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

PRACTICE 1 ABU Dhabi

Lots of rookies taking a P1 session. Interesting to see Charles and his brother Arthur on track at the same time for Ferrari

Charles Leclerc will take a 10 place grid penalty for changing a gearbox.

This is a blow for the constructors championship.

Both Williams drivers are taking a 5 place grid drop for new parts on their cars.

A lot of Lewis segments this weekend. His last race for Mercedes and without doubt the most successful driver/ constructor partnership in the history of the sport.

We saw a snippet of the dramatic race where he won his 7th WDC in 2020. This was a wet race in Turkey where they wanted to box him for new tyres and he refused. He remembered China 2008. Lol
