A legendary name in communication will soon disappear. My first mobile phone was a Motorola Star-Tac.

My mum had the pink one
As did I...and the Red...and Gold.
Then went on to the Krzr. I ended up buying those from a Hong Kong seller on Ebay. (way back in the days when you could trust Ebay) They came in a variety of additional colours....I had a purple one and then emerald green. I didn't actually need all these different phones and colours....I became a bit of a collector

I think at the time, everyone had a Razr. I'm sure I still have my old one. It was a shame Motorola fell behind when smartphones started to take hold. By the time they got back up to speed, they couldn't catch up. I remember Motorola products from my childhood days (a long time ago). Sorry to see the name fade away.

I had a red razr & when that died, the only colour I could get was embarrassingly pink

Well Nokia are refusing to die even though the phones run Windows, under the Microsoft brand they are still one of the leading players in the phone market. I just hope Moto enjoy a resurgence under the Lenovo brand.
